My Training and Experience
I’ve always been fascinated by what shapes human behavior. Early in my career, I worked with at-risk youth, and completed an internship working with the inmate population. These experiences deepened my understanding of how trauma, intergenerational patterns, and life challenges influence the choices we make and how healing and support can create meaningful change.
I pursued this passion through undergraduate studies in psychology and criminal justice, and my graduate studies in clinical and counseling psychology, focusing on childhood development and trauma. My approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, and holistic. I create a safe space where pain can be acknowledged, felt, and gently processed. I also believe in the power of being fully present. Despite the busyness and unpredictability of life, we can find a calm center within ourselves. In these moments, we can connect with ourselves, appreciate our growth, and truly experience life as it unfolds. By working with the mind, body, and nervous system, we can transform difficult experiences into healing, resilience, and meaningful connection.
I proudly support LGBTQIA+ individuals, people from marginalized communities, and those navigating intersectional challenges. Using mindfulness, sensory exploration, and evidence-based techniques, I help clients develop emotional regulation, resilience, and deeper connection to themselves and the people in their lives.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. My experiences across clinical settings give me a wide perspective on the roots of human behavior and trauma, guiding my work with children, adolescents, and families.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends, staying active, and exploring creative pursuits like cooking, art, and music. I believe in the joy of embracing our passions and creativity as a way to express who we are and to discover what brings us peace and fulfillment in life.
